The Swiss International Academy of Osseo-integration and Maxillo-Facial Research Foundation was established as non commercial foundation on 2013 by Dr. Nahi Jabbour, together with group of Clinicians and Expert Researchers.

The mean goal of The Swiss International Foundation is to link Science and Research to the clinical reality of practicing dentistry in all related subjects, and implementing successful implantology by promoting the real concept of tissue regeneration and guided bone regeneration to guide our clinicians to offer the best quality treatment to the benefit of our patients.

Dr. Nahi Jabbour has got his Doctorate in dentistry on 1981 from Damascus University Syria, and had started his training in implantology in 1986 New York University. In 1993 he came to Bern University (Switzerland) to receive special training in implant dentistry, and then he was officially appointed as Education Manager for Straumann Institute, in the Middle East Countries (1993- 2003).

He is the founder of Star Science International Company in Bern Switzerland by 1993 to establish the first high quality Training and Education Center for implantology and tissue regeneration science, in collaboration with Swiss Universities and research Institutes.

Dr. Nahi Jabbour was appointed in 1993 as Training and Education Manager in the Middle East Countries to promote dental implantology applications including surgical techniques and prosthetic restoration.He started the first program in UAE in collaboration with Ministry of Health, (Dr. Hamdan and Dr. Arab 1992-1993).

In close cooperation with researchers and clinicians from several Swiss and European Universities, he started the second implant teaching program in Saudi Arabia in (1995-1997 ). Therefore for the first time he had introduced the digital X-ray technology ( Digora / Finland ) and augmented these new knowledge to help in the planning and clinical application of Oral Implantology.

From 1996 until 2003, in close contact with Swiss University clinicians and researchers, he was guiding serial of training courses about dental implantology in collaboration with different Universities in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Syria and Iran, sponsored by the Straumann Institute. ITI Foundation, Geistlich Pharma Company, and many other high quality Swiss Manufacturers.

Dr. Nahi Jabbour aim of this foundation is not only teaching the real concept but rather to support research and participate to the new innovations and developments of new products, techniques in implantology and maxillo- facial surgery and tissue regeneration. Thus the board directory of the Academy was committed to support this mission.
